With only 12 days until the Koko gig, why haven’t they played LOSE yet? POLEDO might be best as a once-in-a-lifetime live number that they’re saving. But heck, LOSE is possibly the most rip-roaring song on the first 3 records! I just love the demonic beast in the background, doubling Lou’s "Burning…" lyric. Best when listening on full-enclosure headphones.
Lou can’t stand that song. It’s true. He told me during an interview. What a shame. I, too, think it’s one of their best numbers… oh well. I’m sure they’ll do it at the Koko show. Lou has played Poledo before, solo & with Sebadoh…
somebody posted it on a setlist but i dont believe they were right about them playing it, cause they also said they played leper.. and as well all know….

Ah yes, POLEDO… I recall Sebadoh/Lou solo playing part of POLEDO live (the portion Lou later titled TOLEDO). But I’ve never heard the first part of POLEDO played live. I wonder if he’ll play the Koko POLEDO version with ukelele, as it was done originally.
