It’s got everything you could possibly need.
Not being disparging on Side 2 which IMO in Raisans has one of the greatest guitar solos in the (adopts booming biblical voice) ‘HISTORY OF ROCK’.YLAOM is a perfect record, meaning I can listen to it all the way through.
However, for a 3 song block I prefer Lung – Raisans – TarpitI totally agree. But, Freakscene, No Bones, and They Always Come is a pretty stout lineup, too. Good topic.
Wow, yeah that’s definitely up there for me as well as is the Bug lineup mentioned. If I may take the discussion to later Dino work, I’ve always be partial to the Out There > Start Choppin’ > What Else is New combo. I think Out There is the perfect opening track. Any time I put together a Dino mix that includes that song, it goes first. I also think Start Choppin’ is a great second track and follows Out There perfectly. As for What Else is New, that’s just my favorite song of all time so it wraps up this trio quite nicely for me.

love the little mess around doodling and stick count off before yeah we know.
anyone else notice that when j did the reissues he made that part the "they allways come" track and if you skip right to yeah we know it just starts right on the first chord, no stick count off or anything. used to be part of the yeah we know track on the old cd.
i noticed it when i was making a cd for my drummer of songs i wanted to cover.
Kracked-Sludgefeast-Lung is probably pretty close to the truth, no shit, good call, and you could even add Little Fury Things for a top opening 4 songs. YLAOM just, it just, it just stirs me up.

1. What Else is NewAnother "What Else is New" fan. Good to see, I don’t think that song gets enough love on this board. Definitely the most over-looked Dino song IMO.
