      On Wednesday September 28th J Mascis will be performing solo acoustic at a benefit concert to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. The concert, titled "FROM the Heart of New York City TO the Heart of New Orleans," is free with a suggested donation of $25.00 – all net proceeds will donated to the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic. Doors are set to open at 4:30pm and the show starts at 5:30pm.
