You will enjoy. It is a great show, especially if the venue is correct. Last time in SoCal, the Grove show wasn’t as cool at the Avalon. The Grove was just too big..

oh yeah, and to keep this on topic..

BOTH Nights of Dinosaur Jr. at the Troubador… Yep.. April 21 and 22..

Hmm, maybe I can convince my wife that these tickets for me could be my birthday (4/18) and our 1st anniversary gift to me (4/16). The first anniversary is what, paper? What better paper than a dinosaur jr. ticket!!!

                  ;D :o

Agreed. Location is key. I’d much rather go to a club setting with general admission as opposed to someplace that has assigned seats. ::)
And Wilco, those bastards, they’re playing about an hour away from me in Fayetteville in a couple of weeks but, I didn’t find out until it was sold out. They’re gonna play at this place called the Walton Arts Center. WTF??? The place is about the size of your average VFW, for reference. And it’s a college town, for crying out loud. There’s a ton af bars, et al. ::) Sorry bastards…..

Boy, I feel your pain, brother. Last May, my house flooded not once, but TWICE within a months time. >:( taking over 300 cd’s (yes, you read that right) from my precious collection. Washed them right down the street….I saved all my albums though.
Anyways, I’m still replenishing the collection slowly but surely. I should post pics of the devistation some time.
Glad to see your job is complete!

ouch.. Makes my 72 seem miniscule. I think I took about 3 years to get the ones I can remeber (I HAD a spreadsheet with the stolen CD’s, but I guess I forgot to move it to the new computer)… I may have missed a few, but for the most part I think I have at least 70 of them back now.

The good thing about this past purchase was that most of them were used.

and good luck on replenishing the 300.. yikes!!!! :o

I sold alot of cd`s but taped them before I sold `em.Thing is tapes just are`nt as good soundwise as cd`s.I really should`nt sold them but it did enable me to hear more albums.Alot of cd`s I just won`t be able to find anymore.I don`t listen to the same stuff everyone else does you know ;)
Good luck Duane on replacing those discs.

I gotta post some pics, you wouldn’t believe it.
….and most of the CD’s I saved had the sleeves ruined. So now I’ve got a bunch of those stupid CD holders that you usually buy for you car stuffed full of disks in various places in my music room.Try to brouse through one of those when your looking for something to listen to. ::)Floods suck.
Kinda gives you a feel for whats important to men and women: My wife’s trying to save pictures, momento’s, and whatnot. I’m sayin’ "the hell with that" and trying to figure out how to f**K I’m gonna haul 500 pounds of records and stereo equipment on my back! :D :D :D
