is it true?? according to lou’s website, "The ultimately once unlikely" will now happen, dinosaur jr will record a new album with the original J, Lou, Murph lineup

is this true???

i know ive heard rumblings about it, but nothing seems to be confirmed anywhere

the recent announcement of spring tour dates in US seems to back up the idea this is true

They’re coming to Indianapolis!!!!! April 11!!!!! I think this will be the first time since the Without A Sound tour that J has been here.

Although excited by the idea of them writing new songs, I gotta say I hope they pick a good cover song to include. All the Dinosaur covers so far have been brilliant, esp. Just Like Heaven. Either way, cover or no cover: outstanding that all this reunion has happened! (Quite the model for any possible Husker Du or MBV re-activity).

the dvd would be increadible if it was true because I cant seem to find any dvds of dinosaur jr live apart from the year that punk broke. In fact I cant even find any documentrys on them someone please help

Err… You’re right, there’s no DVD available yet… No concert, no footage, no documentary…

As for the 2005 Reunion Live DVD, they announced it to be comin’ some time last year… Somewhere on the official site I read something like: "Feel free to make audio recordings of the shows, but please no filming, because we intend to release an official DVD from the tour…"

Well, maybe this year, maybe next year, maybe later, maybe never…

The good thing, the reunion still holds on, they’re still touring (and again) …
