If you guys are interested in hearing what I think is a pretty good approximation of Dinosaur and Pavement, my band’s link is here.

      http://www.myspace.com/thezooma

"Night Paving" is the closest thing we did to Dino, but it’s pretty indebted to "Another Girl, Another Planet" and my vocal style is a bit more engaged than J (I promise you that’s not a J put down. The guy has one of the coolest voices of all time). Drumming is pretty Murph-esque. And the guit breakdown before the vocals, and at the end of the song, is 100% Dinosaur-inspired.

"That’s History" is more Pavement and probably our best recording, ’cause we did it live. The rest are multi-tracked.

Cool, you’re right, ‘That’s History’ does sound rather Pavement-esque, I liked it.
And the very start of of ‘Night Paving’ made me think of ‘Does it Float’ but then turns out to be quite different , it was cool too though. I added you to my mess myspace page.

I am. I’m in NY at school, now. Gonna be coming back this Saturday to the Boston-ish area.

Cool… I’m in a Boston-area band too. A slightly different style, but similar. Maybe we can do something together sometime.

Here’s the band’s site (run by our drummer)…

Thanks! We’re still relatively new as a group, so we’re still in that stage where we get a bit tighter every time we play live.

I should have mentioned, my personal myspace site is here…
