According to Thomas Haffmon of Rolling Stone magazine, Paul Burger (head of sony music) was involved in a secret pact to force radio airplay of Chevelle’s hit record, Wonder What’s Next. Teaming with radio stations across Europe and the United States, they allegedly granted airplay of two songs by Chevelle under a certain condition: They had to write songs about the subject of "The Red", in order to reach "the freak who was singled out". The program director of Atlanta’s 99x has agreed to testify on the freak’s behalf, and attorney’s across the countries are lining up to sue for royalties. The freak plans to make about 110 dollars…..
