      Staff Writer

Two men were indicted today on federal charges related to posting unreleased music by Ryan Adams recorded for the Nashville-based label Lost Highway Records.

U.S. Attorney Jim Vines and My Harrison, special agent in charge for the FBI’s Memphis Division, said in a statement that Robert Thomas of Milwaukee and Jared Bowser of Jacksonville, Fla., were the two men indicted.

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s office declined to comment on whether the pair had been arrested, saying the full indictment may be released later today.

The case involves portions of the album Jacksonville City Nights by Ryan Adams & the Cardinals being posted last August prior to its release on a Web site frequented by Ryan Adams fans.
