      Hi guys,

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the start of summer 8)

I just wanted to share some info on websites I have joined that give you exposure on TV & film, computer games, documentaries..

At least this is an alternative way to make money and exposure instead of waiting for the "record deal? that doesn?t happen..

Plus its great exposure and they are not as critical as record labels.

      http://www.versusmedia.com/

They offer exposure from indie film makes & documentary, TV shows.
The contracts are non-exclusive so you retain your rights and some clients will pay you a fee.
I had an offer to use 2 of my tracks for a new South African TV show already!
There is a fee to join $30 for a year?s membership and you get 20 free credits (1 needed per job listing)
It’s a small amount of money for the exposure you get
You can upload tracks (using credits)
But if you send them a cd of tracks they will upload it to their music library for free (film producers sponsor this service)
Which film companies and TV etc can browse. (pretty good!!)

      http://www.productiontrax.com/

You can upload a profile of yourself and credits plus you can upload as many music tracks you want to license for free.
They charge a one of fee of $9 and you can upgrade your membership….
If you send them full audio tracks they will add you to their distribution cd as well…
      They also have a forum

      http://filmmusicworld.com/network/index.php

This looks like the big cheese, as many big names are on here from the world of TV and adverts…
You pay an $11-14 for membership a month which means you have access to composer and film industry jobs which
Require music for high profile clients….
If I have any success I will let you know…

Check them out and get your music on TV & film….

If you have any tips, please share them on this thread!

      Cheers

      Rob
