        Dinosaurs Are Still Alive.

A great show from Green Mind era Dino with great sound quality. Not sure if this is the best, i still have more to get around to listening to, but this show combines a well played performance with good sound.

My 2 favorites are, Leeds Festival and Freakin Live, just look for gigs in your favorite era with ratings of about 8 if you want a good sound quality. One of my other favorites is 24/09/91 Paris, France, although the sound isn’t amazing I really love it.

I really like the Batschkapp Frankfurt Germany one. It was from around 87 or 88 I think. Sometimes it sounds like Dinosaur lite but then J kicks in the overdrive and it totally rocks. I like the spaceland show from 2005 as well. :)

Chicago 2005 ! Those are AMAZING ! The 1st night is better than the 2nd, maybe. Washington DC 2006 is great, too – they do a kickass rendition of The Leper…

I agree about the Chicago shows. Amazing sound quality on those recordings, I think.

But, it’s the 2nd night that’s better ;) J was much more "on".

                      Hi
I think one of the best show is J with Broken Social Scene. You can feel that people playin’ with mascis are happy, enthousiastic and it works very well between them. It feel like they are the best musicians for Mascis without Lou and Murph. + Mascis sings very well on this one!

I really enjoy 08/13/1997 from the Water festival and Bizarre festival. Most of the reunion sound are also pretty good too.

All of their reunion shows are awesome I think. All of the early Dinosaur shows on their have their moments, but I love "A Tribute to Charlie Christian". The show was from 1987 and had early versions of Let It Ride, Freakscene, Yeah We Know, and No Bones, all of which are awesome, especially No Bones. The whole show rocks.

Also the BBC session or whatever with Quest, In A Jar, and Keep The Glove is great. There’s a few more I can’t really remember though, I know there was a Green Mind era show I really enjoyed.

The 2006 show live at the Carling Academy in Birmingham, England is the best recording I’ve heard out of the live freesofree material. It’s a very loud recording so I blast it at deafening volumes.
