I finally got the Witch album last night and am delerious with joy. I thought it warranted a visit to the old digs
Nice to see this place is still jumpin!It is a really good album, and almost twice as good under the right conditions

I think we can expect more activity from them. I remember i saw a recent interview linked off this site (can’t remember which one thoough) either with J or one of the other dudes from witch where they said they’re going to make it more than just a one-off sort of thing.
In Montreal, Blue Cheer rocked long and hard & Witch were good. There was an opening band–I think their name was The Mongrels
I liked the singer’s voice, she reminds me of one that is dearly departed 
Bought the Witch CD from Dave Sweetapple himself

I went to the show tonight, and might I say Witch really tears it up, I really haven’t felt that sort of energy at a concert, since the first time I saw J Mascis & The Fog in 2003.I also got to meet J once again, this time was a bit wierd though. He was aimlessly wandering around while the first band was playing, he seemed to be staring at me while walking closer to me. To be honest I actually felt scared of him, I don’t know I think it was more than me being afraid of making a fool of myself in front of J, more like I should be staring and walking towards him. I don’t think he knew me, but when he got closed I shook his hand, and he just stared at me of course, I actually had to break the handshake and walk away. I love how much of a insane genius he is, it doesn’t get any better than that.
