I think Lou wants to return here to have revenge on the people who talked thru his acoustic gig in `93

July 24, 2006 at 9:34 am #119332I am curious about the TBD date on tuesday between baltimore and new haven. I’m thinking a north six show in brooklyn or maybe a bowery show or something, but definately would love another NYC show its been since December.
July 24, 2006 at 10:29 am #119333NYC would be totally sweet

You think? They just played DC in April, and Lancaster would seem to stand in for Philly. Brooklyn would make more sense, since they haven’t played there yet, or even Maxwell’s, for historical reasons. Of course, I’m pulling for either of these locations out of sheer self-interest.

Yeah, thats why I won’t be at the Lancaster show. Anyway Lancaster is a little farther from me than Baltimore. But I’d love to go to both.
Have you ever been to the Ottobar before?P.S. the Baltimore show HAS been announced as all ages at the Dino Jr ticketing site. amazing.

Erin – When Dinosaur played Memphis, TN this past March, it was an 18+ show, but one of the guys on this forum was 17 and he was able to get in with an adult. We actually met at that show and it all worked out because his mom agreed to take him. You could always check on that with the venue if you really wanted to go to the Lancaster show too. If this is your first dinosaur show, this will be the best birthday present ever.

July 28, 2006 at 9:54 am #119340Got my tickets for Toad’s, but I’m still eyeballing that TBA date……Lancaster’s a bit of a drive from here, and from what I hear about that place they’ve got an overzealous, unnecessarily asshole-ish security staff. I can’t stand that shit.

Osheaga will probably be good enough. (Ahhhh, I lost a karma

I could see it though, because he was 17 at the time but I’ll be 16. It’s kind of different then, I guess, since he was so close to 18. But a question, why do venues even HAVE 18+ shows?? I can see 21+, but 18+?
Well, I guess I could see just the Baltimore show and live. The funny thing is the show is on the first day of my junior year.
I was pretty mad when I found that out. But oh well… and yes, I think this will be an amazing birthday present. But honestly I’m nervous for some reason. How long do these shows take to sell out? I can buy my tickets on Friday… :- if it is sold out I am gonna burn things
