Way back, when Tony was still in his twenties and Rich posted about his small penis, we used to have a thread where we posted lucky finds, tales of long coveted treasures and which 7" we had been able to drag home. This can bee seen as a resurrection.
The Thermals – The Body The Blood The Machine. I´m an avid fan of their Fuckin ´A, released a couple of years ago, and was delighted to see that they´d released a new recording. As I´m typing this I´m listening to it for the first time, so I can´t give you the full monty on it, but it prompted me to bring back this thread.
The Complete League Of Gentlemen, -this is without a doubt the most magical thing to hit my dvd player since I inherited a box of swedish porn from a friend that got married. It is that good. It might even be better.
A guided by voices biography.
Sidenote, I´ve been trying to buy the Wipers boxset, but I am completely out of luck. Today my dealer claimed that he had sold the last copy only minutes before my arrival.

I was going to suggest that you go straight to the source zenorecords.com but it doesn’t seem to be up and running.
Let’s see… I’ve bought a box with intials on it and food to nourish my body. I’ll have to come back when I have something better to share.

But the guy behind the counter promised me that unless the fedex truck is part of some crash&burn type scenario I will be holding a copy in about 3 days.
Oh, and I´ve been searching for a miniature version of New Mexico that´ll fit inside a box.

September 6, 2006 at 3:09 pm #121820A Brief History: Twenty-One Years of Hunting Accidents in the Forests of Rock and Roll, and with a title like that I´d expect it was written by modest mouse, but no. To tell you the truth I haven´t had the time to even flip through it yet. I am a sad sad boy, I know.

The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, a friend borrowed this lightyears ago and somehow managed to move to another part of the world, taking my dvd with him. Now he has returned, along with my dvd, and he even got the passport guys at the airport in Brazil to stamp it, to prove that it´s been residing there for the last two years or so. Hurrah ! Oh and I absolutely love this film.

Yeah, he has a way of twisting things around & reworking them back together that is amazing, and the camera work is always flawless in his films.
