We are minutes away from the first kick off of the 2006 NFL season. I absolutely love this time of year. I hope my beloved Seahawks have a good year and make it back to the superbowl (hopefully with a different outcome), and those damn Steelers fall apart, which I’m guesing will begin in about 15 minutes.
I’m not one to talk smack, but if anyone wants to use this thread to do so be my guest. Its all part of the game.

Looks like the Steelers beat up on Miami pretty good. I wasn’t expecting that. We’ll se what else happens this weekend.
Intoxicated mayhem here last nite, spontaneous screaming broke out when pink came on the screen for the opening song, the tv was muted immediately & for the rest of the nite…
Loved the Steelers killing the Dolphins, Polomalu & Porter were wicked!!! Don’t mind seeing Dante continuing the int curse that he had in the NFC North, he’ll always be a viking to me.
So looking forward to Sundays game BEARS vs packers…

Man, the Bears shut Green Bay out! There were a lot of good games yesterday, the Manning bowl was good, Monday night should be good.
My Seahawks barely got by Detroit, we need to fix the O line, it looks a little weak.
I agree AGAP, Daunte will always be a Viking to me too, as well as Randy Moss.
Gotta love a 26-0 game, first shut out since 91 on the packers…
Thought you guys would kill Detroit, hopefully the addition of Branch will help you guys out…except or course when it comes to playing the Mighty BEARS
next up for us, Lions in Chicago…
Beware, I thought the Lions was gong to be a cream puff game, but they are pretty good. John Kitna will do well there (I went to junior high with him) with Mike Martz’s offense. Maybe not this year but next year they should be contenders.
We have Arizona at home, we should win that one too, but we’ll see. You never know these days, especially when evryone is gunning for the NFC Champs.
i didn’t expect such a close score, neither did i expect Buffalo to score in the first 12 seconds of the game, but they did, and it was. the Patriots managed to pull it out 19-17

Definitely taking them serious, their db’s & tackles are fast! Our offense has some work to do, only 1 td, 4 field goals…gotta score td’s in the red zone! The Hester 84 yd punt return for a td was sweet!

…Stillers look solid dispite the grey cloud circling our quarterback, but that’s they way things are sometimes, like the Bears chances as well, so many players on defense and the offense seems better and that should be good enough…

Is Batch going to play again this week or did they put big Ben back in? I know the Cower was having second thoughts about putting in Ben too soon.
