October 24, 2006 at 12:32 pm #122767i cant seem to get a dinosaur sound from it. anyone got some good settings?
October 25, 2006 at 1:14 am #122768huh thats cool i didnt know j used a muff fuzz and a deluxe big muff
those will be on my x mas list lolOctober 25, 2006 at 1:22 am #122769i have to say save up and get an old big muff there worth the money
i have 3 old big muffs
sadly i only really like one of them*the other too are kinda noisey full blast*
2 of them have the version 3 paint job with the rams head 3003 curcit in it*cheaper*
and the other one is 78 big muff with the later ic chips in it*i might try to sell* it sounds simular my other ones but i still like my less noisey one
ill either play it full blast ie everything turned full *the idoit settings*
or everything turned about half way for rythme
and the funny thing is if you get a old big muff the knobs dont line up very well*there all over the place* so its hard to get the correct settings with anything well thats how my one muff is anyways ill shut up peaceOctober 25, 2006 at 1:32 am #122770Huh – thought I had a Vintage Big Muff – but mine doesn’t look like those. It has more graphics on it.

if it has a switch on the top and doesnt have a led light then its a orginal big muff not the reissue

i hope i find oneOctober 25, 2006 at 9:19 am #122773"SonicD " wrote:i cant seem to get a dinosaur sound from it. anyone got some good settings? If you have time look up Sweeneys post on J’s rig. He was J’s guitar tech on tour. He said J had his big muff turned all the way up on all 3 knobs. J also uses a custom pedal that cuts the output in half for rythm parts. Then when he solos he uses a Germania Treble Boost pedal by Home Brew Electronics. So J’s tone isn’t just from the Big Muff, there are other things going on there. But even if you just have the Big Muff you can still get pretty close.
