Is there anymore to come ? Without a sound & hand it over are from the same label as GM & WYB, so maybe ?
While I’d certainly welcome a few more b-sides, I’m not sure those two need to be reissued. They are late enough that the sound quality and production is already pretty good on those albums so there’s not really a need to polish up the sound like there was with the others. Personally, I didn’t think WYB needed to be redone either. It sounds better I guess but did it really need to be reissued? Green Mind and the three SST records, sure, but the later stuff shouldn’t be re-released unless they plan on adding a lot of new material to them.
I remember J talking about the Green Mind & WYB reissues, said something like Warner jumped on the bandwagon following the Merge reissues, then said thats all he had to say on the matter.
Not sure how much control J has over that, hopefully total control, not sure thats the case though :-
I didn’t buy the last teo one because i had all these "bonus" tracks already, but when i saw them yesterday in the recordstore i could’nt resist….. Happy to find out that "hide" peel session wasn’t released before, and it’s nice to have the new artwork, pics and liner notes !
Not every re-isssue could be like the one’s from the Cure ( now that would be nice ! )
