I need another fuzz pedal. It needs to have ALOT of sustain and be reasonably priced (under $150).

      Any suggestions?

maybe get some reverb in your lineup…..that’ll give you A LOT of sustain. I have an ART Multiverb and that thing rocks. Sure it’s digital but for some of the effects you get you can’t beat it. As for just a fuzz pedal that has a lot of sustain, if you can’t find one….get one that’s close to what you want, then mod it to how you like it. Don’t let people tell you that you cant mod a PCB…..because uh…..it’s been done a *few* times.

first of all what to include in a gear thread

          ]ur budget
          ur guitar
          amp
          other pedals
what kind of music do you play and what sounds do you want

this is essential so we can know what to reccomend

the most important thing to tell us if you want real fuzz, or more distorted big muff, dinosaur-ish sort of fuzz

anyways, if youre looking for a fuzz pedal i think these days you cant get good ones that arent overpriced. the only good fuzz pedals are waaay overpriced (fender blender, fuzz factory)

a compressor might be good cause its also a sustain pedal. maybe some booster pedal too. mxr has great compressors and boosters.

if you can get one, get a maestro fuzz tone. they just reissued it. its one of the best fuzz pedals ever. real 60s fuzz, its in a black box which looks like an early superfuzz. super sexy too.

i think that if youre looking for sustain and fuzz, you probably cant find a good pedal. fuzz pedals dont have a lot of sustain.
