      ok, ive downloaded 3 or 4 copys of Quest by now and every copy seems louder than the rest of the Dinosaur album and every other song on my computer. Its the same when i burn it or sync it to an Ipod, etc… and im wondering if its like that on the cd or im just getting weird copys of the song

        my Dinosaur album sounds fine. i got mine from Emusic. but i dunno.

          Justin, this might be the stupidest question ever, but -have you checked the bitrates of the different albums you´ve got ?
          If Quest is ripped at a much higher bitrate compared to the other albums there will/might be a difference in the volume.
          Either way, the moral of the story is that you need to buy the albums because you never know what you´re gonna get when you´re downloading ;)
