      Not sure if this topic has been done before but what Dino/The Fog songs do you think have the best bassline?

      I`d say In A Jar.Lou just carrys that song along for a the first couple of minutes

        Yeh that bass line makes the song. I love playing The Lung bassline and the opening Quest one. Lou is probably my favorite bass player, they’re all interesting and usually completely different to the guitar.

          let it ride!

          i love the bass solo’s that went down on the J mascis + the fog tours

          watts "back before ya go" bass solos were amazing. also "get me" bass solos were allways great with any of the bass players.

            Tarpit. The total fuzz/roar of the bass pretty much drowns out J for the whole song. Kind of a microcosm of Lou’s playing style.

            Cat’s in a Bowl is pretty cool w/ its rockabilly beat.

              How could I forget Let it Ride and Cats in a Bowl. Cats in a bowl sounds like it would be hard to play and sing at the same time, could be why they havn’t played it very often at shows.
