Right after they played flood kurt fedora (of goblehoof fame, also on martin and me) came out from back stage and ran right off the stage towards me, i thought he was a security guard coming out to bust a weed smoker, he took a dive off the stage and everyone behind me moved right out of the way and he hit the ground face first. There was break and Eric came over and said "Was that Kurt?" told the croud he wasnt on anything and he’d only had a few drinks, was only embracing the concert. Im sorry Kurt i wish everyone woulda cought ya, damn northampton crowd.

Anyway great show. I love these guys and i’ll be there tommorow in boston!

I recorded the show and as soon as I am able to, I’ll upload it to Anthony. I didn’t actually see the stage dive, b/c someone was blocking my view of the right side of the stage- but someone next to me told me. Crazy. Was he OK?

was J there? didn’t see him, but there were loads of people. crowd was kinda dead i thought, for a hometown show.

              thanks for the setlist!

i was a bit disappointed in the Jason songs which were selected.

              overall, good show, not great.

yeah j was there. i thought it was an awesome show, best show ive seen in quite a while. i loved the jason songs they chose but i was hoping for mind reader and hillbilly II but what can ya do?

crowd was pretty dead but northampton crowds have been pretty dead at most of the shows ive seen out there recently (with the exception of the first dinosaur reunion show there, that crowd was nuts)

yea, that was a good show.Glad you got the full setlist ’cause im not as familiar with sebadoh post bakesale stuff. The songs came off very well live especially give up, god told me, sixteen , flood , freed pig (with a great added noisy ending), scars, four eyes (great flanger effect), brand new love and the show stopper gimme indie rock.It was great that the show didnt slow much when they kept changing instruments.

Cool. I noticed J standing in that area, but didn’t see him after that. The way it was described to me, the guy could have been pretty hurt! It was basically a stage dive… inbetween songs… and the Red Sea parted ways (as i undestand it). Hope the guys OK.. but it was a pretty classic move. Memorable. Even if I was there, and didn’t see it. Lou seemed to think it was funny, from my POV.

Jesus. When you’re 18, you can get up from something like that and shake it off. At his age? Ouch. I just hope he was as drunk as he typically is so he didn’t feel it much.

i was hoping for stuff like careful, happily divided, sister, prince-s, can’t give up, etc.

did he play drama mine? for some reason i thought so, though my memory’s spotty.

Suuuuch a good show. Didn’t know that the stage diver was the guy from Gobblehoof. And I don’t care what Gaffney says, Kurt was definitely on something. I could see it in his eyes. He had acid-eyes. He was stumbling around the crowd, bumping into me a few times, not able to keep balance and was staring at his hands very intently with his eyes very wide open. If he wasn’t on anything he took that night, then he was definitely having an organic mind-trip. But I think it was drugs.

I feel like the second night’s show was even better. The band seemed to be more on fire and the crowd was really enthusiastic, I caught everyone in the band giving a smile on stage at some point. It was so great that they did 3 encores !! The set was a great cross section of material from all their records.Eric learned the new ones well.
