hi
i’m from austria, 31 yrs old and the first dino songs i heard where from green mind and the fossils ep, more than 10 yrs ago. i liked it from the beginning, but never became an avid fan. i had two lp’s or so from my brother, never bought any way back then. from the first moment on, i liked the voice and the multi-layered guitars a lot. over the years, i listened a lot to green mind. last year, whern they were touring, i remembered them and i went to see them. i felt connected to them, especially j. the remoteness & intensity of the songs made it for me. also, i just like good musicians, and those three really are great. fantastic drummer.
of course i like their classics, but the album green mind is still my favourite. and i like beyond a lot. i wonder what the "rank" of green mind is among hard-core fans ?
beside dinosaur, i listen a lot to frank black (hence the nick-name). does anybody here know & like the band souled american? i think they are as outstanding as dinosaur, although a complete different genre. check them out if you are lucky to get something – they don’t really exist anymore…
thats about me,
cheers, 2R

"make me laugh, make me cry" is maybe an archetypical souled american song. hope you like it !
there is no souled american website (well, there is one, but it is just a green screen with "souled american" written on it). however, an interesting thing is "50 posters of souled american":
oops, i forgot, this is a dino forum. sorry for all that rambling on souled american. but i’m a bit obsessed.
