I lost mine Without a Sound record some years ago. And now I bought a new one.
But when I saw the disc I didn’t recognize it. I don’t remember how my old one looked like, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t like this one. The new one has the song titles and then there’s a dog on it.
Does anyone know if there’s different versions of it?
June 2, 2007 at 4:33 pm #129594I bought mine years ago when it came out, and as a matter of fact I was listening to it today. It looks exactly how you described it, song titles with a dog on it.
June 4, 2007 at 4:54 am #129595When you say "The Disc" do you mean "CD" or "LP" ?
I have the CD (and it does not have a ‘dog’ as you described).
The CD is all black with "Dinosaur Jr" written at the top in red and the song titles in white.
Got it in Australia around the time the album was released.June 4, 2007 at 5:17 am #129596I have both the cd’s you are talking about.
The one I bought in Australia at release time was made in germany on Warner Music UK (The Black one)
The other was made in the USA on the Sire label.( the Dog one).
I got the US one a while later with some singles and stuff. At the time I remember thinking the cd looked different.July 19, 2007 at 1:46 pm #129597This is what mine looks like. I’ve had it for over 13 years..

The Without A Sound LP I have just has a grainy sunburst color on the center label.
July 19, 2007 at 2:47 pm #129600Anyone got a picture of the other one?
July 19, 2007 at 3:25 pm #129601I couldn’t find on ebay or amazon Uk.
July 19, 2007 at 3:42 pm #129602I think I posted about this earlier. I was curious about the different cds’ look . I have a white WAS cd.

July 19, 2007 at 5:33 pm #129604Yeah, thanks for the link. Now I remember how my old one looked like. It was the UK version, white disc with text.
July 19, 2007 at 6:57 pm #129605You’re welcome.
I think Woody Johnson did have mousepads with this image on them, not unlike so many things freak sceney.

July 20, 2007 at 12:16 am #129607I think they were placing these cows all over the states for a time, mostly in New York. Sometimes I go looking for "animal ornaments" in people’s yards and stuff, but it’s like they know I’m on the way and hide them. I like the way they just set art out on the street.
