Do the tune-0-matic bridges J uses have a smaller radius than standard Gibson ones to match the 7.25" vintage necks,or does this cause a compatability issue?
Does he use standard vintage spec necks or are they flatter.9.5",12" with larger frets?
I’ve read alot of different stuff about the 7.25" necks choking out with bends unless you use a pretty high action, and are more suited to chord work.
Does J play with a reasonably high action on the vintage necks to get around these problems? He doesn’t seem to have too much trouble playing lead.

I guess bends choke out cause of the vintage radius, but yeah action needs to be high. I think J has them high, he’s always saying how he doesnt want to play to fast and doesnt want it to be too easy. Hmm they seem like standard tune o’s to me.

I think he uses a standard tune-o, but the one on the sig is slightly different. I think it has been adjusted to play on fender neck because this thing, out of the box, screams. Fender make the bridge a damned accessory. I written that 20n times now. I’ll stop.

Will this "Adjusto-matic"-bridge fit on a regular US Jazz??….And is it even possible to buy one?.

Warmouth makes a modified Mustang/Jaguar bridge that works for JM upgrades, too. Though maybe your pickguard would require some modification as well.

Interesting. But is´nt it basically the same as a stock Mustang bridge but with adjustable saddles?.
I use Mustang bridges on my JM´s (Better than the stock ones anyway)….But,like mentioned, bends can be a problem :-[.If Fender finally made a bridge that actually works should´nt it be available to JM-owners other than those with a J signature?.Maybe we should all write Fender?

Yeah, and upon review, it looks as though the middle two saddles are stock ‘stang.
