sludgefeastseriously i cant hear shit this morning.. i like to think my ears are sufficiently broken in by loud music, but been the small room it was, it seemed even louder than the metro last year,
regular john were ok.. kinda like a heavier sparta, with the duelling screamo vocalists.. tey got hooks and play hard.. but not really my thing.. but i recognised a few tracks off triple j, and they werent bad..
said howdy to lou between sets, seemed in good spirits, seemed a bit dejected about the percieved turnout.. but it did fill up a lil more before dino hit the stage..
highlights.. almost ready, pick me up, back to your heart, mountain man, feel the pain was cool to hear but a lil sloppy and of course freak scene got the biggest reception of the night.. others im sure, but thats off the top of my head
the mix was pretty crap, and js vocals were muffled alot of the time.. but it was loud and it sufficiently rocked

Good show. Fucking loud – I wore earplugs and my ears were still ringing…
I liked Feel the Pain – a few of J’s riffs were a bit off, but he nailed the end. Would have liked the wagon, but overall a pretty solid effort. Lou’s vocals were practically non existant, his mic seemed to be turned down or something. Most of the songs of Beyond sounded pretty good.
