Today i received a video from my friend in Germany from when Dinosaur Jr opened up for RHCPeppers.
I noticed that along with the Marshall stacks J had an Orange stack.

Was this used as a backup or has he been using this all along on the tour?
He used an Orange Cab at the London show at the Scala in June. He’s experimented with Hi Watt amps in the past too. How are they going down n front of a RHCP crowd?
i’ll youtube the videos ( 2 are clips of Been there all the time and Out there) and a 3 minute video of a song i havent been given yet.

the crowd seemed to like them okay. alot of people seem to be just screwing around or chatting in the crowd

Sounds like the same as Emmaboda, Sweden the day before Copenhagen. But the Orange was in the middle.

same in norway too. in soundcheck he had a red Hiwatt, which failed to make it to the start rig. They switched to a black Hiwatt. I didn’t know the orange was Orange, cause I usually think of the orange amps as orange and white.
he’s also been using a Germino head finished in orange tolex along with the Marshall + Hiwatt amps recently
it’s easier to rent over there. different electrical set-up which will kill your roaming gnome and blow up your amp.
