Here’s a swedish interview from July 28
August 8, 2007 at 4:30 pm #131142It looks like a hostage video. Like "we’ve kidnapped J but it’s okay, he seems fine."
August 8, 2007 at 4:33 pm #131143Yeah I can totally see how journalists hate interviewing J. Knowing that that is how he is, it’s almost comical watching that.
August 8, 2007 at 4:40 pm #131144The questions were pretty lame. "How do you like Sweden?", "what are your interests?" Everyone knows J likes Amma, Skydiving, daytime TV and Uma.
I liked the "is it true your wife cuts your hair" question though. That was fun.

Thank God, he’s all right! How much are they asking for? Whatever they’re asking for, pay it!

Yeah, I was thinking police interrogation. Gee Wiz, I wish folks would come to freakscene we have a whole list of much more interesting questions we would ask. I don’t believe that he has no more interests in life than just music and Amma, but I don’t really know…………I just feel that he sometimes gets the feeling of …………….I don’t know………I just felt the way the questions were coming fell flat…….there was not a depth of feeling coming from the guy asking the questions………….he just sort of remotely ran through the list of questions with out much enthusiasm ……….and J sort of mirrored that feeling back to him.

Gosh, I don’t know about that question……….I mean, when is the last time you’ve seen J with a hair cut. Ask Fata she’s into hair………..I’ve been going to see J for many years and only ONCE did I notice that his ends looked trimmed up nicely.
poor J, he is asked the same damn questions over and over again………….that would drive me nuts.

August 8, 2007 at 9:38 pm #131149This reminds me of when Husker Du were interviewed on PBS ages and ages ago.
Interviewer: What’s it like playing in Europe?
Greg Norton: It’s a lot like playing in America, except you’re in a different country.
Classic.

Its kinda hard to show depth or feeling when its not your first language, i sorta speak german and show no emotion at all when i speak it. As I was watching it looked like j was asleep and i imagined him growing a beard and also in pigtails

That’s hilarious.

I like this interview. It’s so strange, there’s so much extraneous noise, mic rubbing on shirt, J’s voice is low, calm and pensive. The interviewer looks like he’s shitting in his pants… But he had a couple of good questions.
August 9, 2007 at 11:51 am #131153Sorry, I thought I’d bump this back up.
August 9, 2007 at 12:03 pm #131154They are sitting in some kind of hovel(I think its called "hovel" in english) behind the stage and there’s another band playing, that’s why there’s so much noise I think.
August 9, 2007 at 12:08 pm #131155Uhm, whats up with the sound? Cant hear much and i have full volume, maybe to much dino on high volume eh?
