Hey guys, I thought I would share with you today………Athens had the highest ever recorded temperature
104 degrees…………….We had two school open houses today………..and school supply shopping.
Everyone had sweet pouring into their eyes…..shirts were drenched after a short walk through a parking lot.
overwhelming heat………..and we are supposed to have the same thing tomorrow, they say we could even reach
105
…………….hard to believe. We passed two bank clocks with 104 on them……….I think tomorrow we need to take a photograph for the children’s scrap book.a peek at tomorrow: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/forecast/MapCli … 3&site=ffc

We certainly are getting it down here. It is pretty common to see people getting out of their cars with their backs completely soaked and a line across their fronts where their seatbelts were. The humidity in the mix is making it horrible.
Hope the school functions went well!August 10, 2007 at 9:14 am #131211It`s been hot here recently too
August 10, 2007 at 9:48 am #131212Its not too bad here in the NW. Typicall overcast skies in the a.m. hours burning off to sunshine in the afternoon. With the temperatures getting hotter each year I’m convinced before long we will start to see a steady migration to Alaska. It will be the only place left with truly mild weather.
August 10, 2007 at 9:54 am #131213We had 98 degrees with humidity it felt like 110
