This subject has been hashed around before but my lovely children told me "Mom, you should get a Dinosaur JR ringtone, they have them right here"……….and low and behold they had everything from Beyond…………….I had never downloaded a ringtone before (but friends had) so I though that it would be like a buck or so billed one time to my service……………I finally chose "I got Lost" and it’s like enter your credit card and for 5 bucks a month I can have that or anything else I want. I’m not paying anyone 5 bucks a month for a freakin’ ringtone……………….but it sure would be nice to have something from Beyond on my phone right now………..my phone rings off the hook and it would give me a chance to tell everyone what it is. Jeremiah……….anyone………….how can we get a Dinosaur Jr ringtone without being ripped freakin’ off. It doesn’t seem like rocket science. Couldn’t Freakscene set us up with ringtones somehow. Is it difficult…………seems like we could download them ourselves into the phone but that doesn’t seem possible. Anything from Beyond would be okay with me.

I’ve got sound editing software………….like I have time to do this but I’m gonna try….get my snipet of sound, and then the trick will be to get it into my phone. I don’t know how but perhaps I should go to that link up there and read the WHOLE thing.
TIME … TIME I’m wasting time.If your phone can play .mp3s and you have a USB you can just connect the phone to your computer and transfer the song, then set it as a ringtone. If you want it polyphonic or whatever, you’ll need to convert it to a midi file which is the most ridiculously awkward thing to do in the world, lol.

Blake, you rock, I had "I got Lost" from my computer and into my phone is freakin’ less than 7 minutes but……
and this is a big but….it is now in my saved messages and I don’t know how to get it into my ringtone open gallery.
My husband will not trouble shoot for me because he is on a trip lately in which I have to try and find the answer myself before turning to him with big doe eyes. I saved it from a text message (?thats what it said, text said "got lost" now in your phone, follow this link) the only way I could follow the link is by saving it into my memory…can’t get it moved from memory to ringtone.VERY CLOSE HOWEVER. THANKS AGAIN
I GOT IT…………….I had not selected my carrier so I had to go in and do that. I now have two songs…the ones I wanted
"I got Lost" and "We’re not Alone" in my phone…….."We’re not Alone" is actual ring tone. It’s very funny, it starts with "keep an eye on every move I make" which makes for a great "cell phone" ringtone. The sound is asi-asi but I’m okay with that.
