Can someone rip the bbc reading festival before it’s too late? I’m really starting to panic now. :bat: http://www.bbc.co.uk/readingandleeds/2007/artists/dinosaurjr/”>http://www.bbc.co.uk/readingandleeds/20 … inosaurjr/

That is probably my favorite encore that Ive seen them do. Tarpit was amazing, Chunks was better. Weee. The whole thing is awsome.

I was wondering that too. I really wish he had another Rickenbaker.

Its probably a rental while they are over there. I asked Lou about using another Ric but he said he thought Fender basses sounded better. He really likes the P-Bass he’s using now. Although those Music Man Sting Rays are dope.

i thought the music man sounded a little weird for lous bass sound. still good. but he ussually sounds more grindy than he does in that video.

i agree. i like sting ray basses but i really dont think they fit lous style. if you listen to it, it sounds very trebley and without the bite.

I thought it sounded weird when they started Just Like Heaven but then I started to like it alot more. Still like the fender and rics more though.

I definitely can’t get a sound that cool out of my Thunderbird. That Music Man has an awesome sound. :D

Honestly I really don’t like that Music-Man sound at all – I think it doesn’t match with J’s guitar sound too well (the Jazznmaster being a trebbly-sounding guitar as well) >:( I was really excited to finally hear a full soundboard version of a recent live show, but that tinny-trebbly bass sound really ruins it for me. I prefer that diesel-tractor-in-yr-face!-sound of the Rick & Fender anytime.
