The cell phone camera was in Boston last night.
Highlights: Pick Me Up, Gargoyle, and the Sam Adams.
Photos were taken during Pick Me Up, Out There, and Lou #1

Before dino jr came on this weird folky experimental band MV&EE played and they were incredible. J joined in on drums for the last 3 songs of their set and didn’t disappoint. Dino Jr themselves were really on fire last night they tore through the new songs in what seemed like a faster pace. The Lung and Feel The Pain seemed to have improved also with their constant roation in the set. I loved the extended version of Gargoyle they did to end the set too. Also funny enough at the show i bumped into this old school dino jr fan who said she saw them way back when they were still called dinosaur. Only bad part of the show was that Lou’s vocals were hard to hear in "Back To Yr heart because the soundboard person didn’t turn them up enough.
Set List:
Almost Ready
Been There All The Time
Back To Yr Heart
Lung
Little Fury Things
Out There
This Is All I Came To Do
Feel The Pain
Pick Me Up
Crumble
The Wagon
GargoyleEncore
Freak Scene

ChunksNovember 25, 2007 at 12:24 pm #132598hey tim i didnt make it to either show, dissapointed that setlist looks great and i would have loved to see MV&EE open for them.
November 25, 2007 at 8:56 pm #132599anyone have a setlist from the boston 11/24 show? was it the same as 11/23?
November 25, 2007 at 9:37 pm #132600prolly not they ussually change up the setlist night to night
November 27, 2007 at 11:26 am #132601I was psyched to see them. The setlist was great, as expected. What totally pissed me off was the fact that the PA was blown away by J and Lou’s amps. I mean WTF?!? I came to hear you guys sing as much as play and all I saw was you standing by the mic (tho’quiet parts of songs did allow vocal to come through). Please work on getting this balanced out or I think there will be many more ticked off fans…Thank you for coming in spite of the tech issue.
November 27, 2007 at 4:46 pm #132602This has been talked about before but….the balance comes from you moving a little further back in the room, if you are standing
right up front it’s hard to hear any vocals………….November 28, 2007 at 8:50 am #132603The distance, at the Paradise, between the stage and the bar is about 30 feet. So I can understand Erik_426’s complaint if he was on the floor (moving back doesn’t really help). The balcony, you get a bit more vocals but not much. Typical for the Paradise.
November 28, 2007 at 10:50 am #132604Besides hearing the vocals is over rated anyway. I know the words, I usually am singing them at the top of my lungs while the band plays. I guess maybe people should know better, you don’t go to a Dinosaur show to hear the vocals. :-
