If anyone was into 80’s metal when they were younger you might know who Kevin Dubrow is. He was the singer and a founding member of Quiet Riot. He was found dead last night in his home in Las Vegas. The cause is still unknown, he was 52.
I never got into Quiet Riot that much….. maybe I should have posted this in teh I read the news today thread. :-
Quiet Riot were essentially a Slade cover/tribute band. But there are certainly a lot worse things to be.
hell yeahs. quiet riot was the shit. sespecially when you were in 6th grade. i went and saw a reunion show in fort wayne way back in 1995. there were like 50 people at the show and i got to shoot pool with some of the band after the show. what a treat. metal health is a must have in any vinyl collection. if not just for the album art the music is pretty dang good..
