Just got my hands on the first pressing of You’re living all over me from before they added the Jr, does anyone know how many copies were made without the Jr?

I have a very battered cassette copy of YLAOM without the Jr.! I remember being confused seeing later copies of it in the stores with the Jr. added to it. It was a little bit after they released YLAOM that that The Dinosaurs sued them and they had to change their new. It always kinda annoyed me–I had Deadhead friends who were into The Dinosaurs, but I thought it was a pretty lame and un-hippie thing to do to sue Dinosaur–I mean, Dinosaur and The Dinosaurs, shouldn’t be that hard to tell apart, and even if it wasn’t, it’s not like it would be a bad thing to be confused with Dinosaur (Jr.)!

i like the sound of the name with the jr. i dunno why. even so it was kinda lame to sue over something like that.

20 years ago, I originally thought the Jr. sounded weird or corny, probably because I wasn’t used to it. After a little while, I got used to it, and it seemed like their name had always had the Jr. Ultimately, I agree that it adds to their name. So, the lawsuit may have actually helped them… though it was still a lame thing to do.

Though I notice something: some of my own buddies from back then still call the band "Dinosaur" without the Jr.
