FYI John Agnello wrote on his Twitter account that he finished mixing the new Dinosaur jr record yesterday. Definately exciting news. Not sure how many songs will be on the album but it looks like Lou has 2 again.

Pitchfork media was at J’s house to do an interview with the band and will be doing a feature story on the 25th, so check out Pitchfork for that. I guess there is supposed to be snippets of new songs, news of the upcoming tour, and some other stuff.

Awesome news.

I looked on Lou’s site and saw the posts about this – I’m really looking forward to hearing the new album and seeing the Pitchfork interview.

I wonder what will get released first – Lou’s album or the new Dinosaur one ?

2009 will be a good music year.

Pretty much all of my favourites will release new records.
Dinosaur, Lou, Built to Spill and Sonic Youth

Yes, Lou wrote something like. Dino early summer and the solo record after the summer.
