April 8, 2009 at 1:49 pm #134533well, this record will probably turn out pretty diverse then… lou claims it’s like the old stuff, murph claims it reeks of where you been… I’m even more intrigued and waiting for it than before, if that’s even possible
good news about the where you been sound in a way, my gf likes that album the most and might just mind farm a little less as I’m spinning the hell out of it once it drops
oh yeah, and please please please share some show details with us when you get back. hope they play some new stuff… iono if they did do "I don’t wanna go there" or not

J/Dino has done songs that’s better on it’s own, but as an album it’s the perfect one.April 8, 2009 at 3:20 pm #134536that album is one of the strongest outings as an entire album, since every track serves some sort of purpose and none of them seems like crud, filler or a miss. virtually every other dino jr or mascis record I listened to (apart from more light and beyond) has at least one questionable spot. this one is clean.
hoping to add farm to the list
April 9, 2009 at 7:24 am #134537the show is tonight, I hope to get some video of the new stuff!
I’ll post it if I do.
Murph told me this should be stuff that’s kick ass live, so I’m pretty pumped.April 9, 2009 at 8:00 am #134538"Rumpy" wrote:that album is one of the strongest outings as an entire album, since every track serves some sort of purpose and none of them seems like crud, filler or a miss. virtually every other dino jr or mascis record I listened to (apart from more light and beyond) has at least one questionable spot. this one is clean.hoping to add farm to the list

More Light is really underrated. I never skip a track when I listen to More Light or Where You Been.
