This is the big news story today in my hometown and everyone seems to be having a blast with it. Athens is such a sweet liberal town (blue town in a red state)….many of my family and friends work at the University and the bulk of our economy runs around it. The general feeling seems to be a chuckle and a shrug and an understanding that the recession is even hitting professors now……… The worlds oldest profession is probably somewhat recession proof, perhaps even thriving.

UGA professor busted for running a prostitution ring. (I see the phrase “prostitution ring” has been changed online since this morning, the charge is “operating a place of prostitution”) Great cross-dressing mugshot.
