“Last year J Mascis hooked up with some friends to record one of the dirtiest, fuzziest, filthiest instrumental psych album ever. Heavy Blanket was the culmination of this reunion. After the album everyone went their own ways back to their former lives and it was a moment in time recorded for prosperity.
At last years Roadburn festival in Europe, J got together with some very capable friends and played a “Heavy Blanket” set live. It was a rare outing for such an album.
This year, J is getting together with two guys to do it again ………….. in my shop.
On March 14th HEAVY BLANKET are playing a FREE and ALL AGES instore at Tym guitars. “

Tym said J gave him permission to record and if J likes the outcome of that recording we may see a release from this show!
