ChunksGreat gig. Opening band Leader Cheatah very unsuited for the support slot. Whoever arranged the drums for Murph got their times screwed up so they wernt there for the sound check. So a bit of a sloppy mix until they got the levels right. The vocals from both J and Lou were perfect once it was sorted out. It was loud but I didnt wear earplugs and was pretty close to the front.
Highlights for me were Forget the Swan and Chunks.
Probably the best gig I have been to all year. Even better than the Pixies earlier.
July 17, 2007 at 8:31 am #130730First post on this forum, how’s everybody going?

AMAZING show, best I’ve seen in a long time. Saw J & The Fog in 2001 but this was a truckload better.
Did they really play The Wagon? Are you guys positive?
I really could’ve sworn the encore was just Sludgefeast > Chunks, but maybe my memory isn’t serving me well…

Yeah, I love that song…I’m sure I would’ve remembered them playing it.
But my brain plays tricks on me from time to time, I guess.
July 17, 2007 at 6:23 pm #130733The set list is from one my mate grabbed off the stage. I think it was Murphs, as the words were only 15mm not like Js that were about 30mm tall.
My memory is a bit vague also. I think they played Wagon second to last in their set and there was only Sludgefest and Chunks for the encore.
