      Hello

Was thinking of buying the Japanese version of the Dinosaur re-issue as it was supposed to have bonus tracks (I specifically wanted the version of Minor Threat). Have been searching the web for a reasonably priced copy, the closest I have come is this:

      http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dinosaur-Bonus- … F8&s=music

But its only got Does It Float in terms of a live addition. Can anyone confirm exactly whats on the Japanese version, and better still, somewhere that I can get it (ie, not Tokyo HMV!!)

      Thanks

      M

Thanks – thats where I looked first as well (more reliable than Amazon!), guess I’ll just chance it. At worst I’ll have an overpriced copy of the album!!

          Anyways, thanks for the help

          Happy Xmas!!

Why didn’t they include those tracks on our re-issues? The bonus material on Green Mind and Where You Been was so much better than the first 3 :-

Imperial Records has several outlets listed in Japan as carrying their stuff…imperialrecords.jp

It seems Japanese imports of Dinosaur/J always have cool extras, even lyrics sheets with some…although not transcribed by the group so kind of sketchy at times

Not sure how much control J had over anything with the Warner reissues

I think it has something to to with the Japanese pricing system.

For some reason (their version of VAT?) its cheaper in Japan to buy an import than it is to buy a domestic release. So most Japanese releases by any band get an extra track or 2 tagged on to the end of album to encourage the kids to spend their yen on that version, rather than pick up a copy similar to the ones we can get our grubby hands on.
