I hate that bit torrent shit. Do I really have to ride a unicycle through the rocky mountains to get a file? I’ll do it of course.

Looks like video is up at Freesofree now.

Thanks Anthony, I’m glad to see other guys enjoy the same breakfast of champions that mine does. Just add to that a plate of fried sweet plaintains with hot sauce and a smoothie.

Time to have a productive weekend.

omg, it’s so extremely thrilling to see J,Lou&Murph play together again!
couldn’t see any fault in the performance, it was just great, and that after only 2 days of practice :D:D:D

thank you so much, maxpower and anthony for making it available so fast!!! :!:

…I’m so curious what we’ll hear about tonight’s Spaceland show!

                    wow, I loved seeing/hearing that! :D

Could be J had some probs with the guitar, but the solo was amazing!

Fuck I don’t have time to watch it again now.. need to pick someone up at a bus station… arrgghhhhhh

The band was awesome! I haven’t J so animated in years. The guitar work was sloppy great! So cool.

I wonder if Barlow is really into it. Murph looked resigned behind the skins, but Barlow was smirking and slightly indifferent. His knee drop at the end was forced.

J was on fire! I see him every time he comes to LA, and he has not seemed so energized in years. Perhaps this will be inspiration for more great songs! :D

sounds like your moniker should be ‘dave the doubter’
                        "i wonder…Murph looked….his knee drop was forced…"
where are you getting this from? did you talk to Lou, have you seen him play before?

who’s knee drop do you enjoy? James Brown?
i thought they all brought their own solid performancce peculiarities to the stage and it was all very entertaining
but maybe you know something i dont.

I think Lou is acting, playing himself 15 years ago. He’s definetly into it, read his site. They only practiced for 2 days as a band so I got the feeling he was just trying to make sure it went smoothly.

Was this Lou’s first tv performance? or has Sebadoh played Conan or anything like that?

you might want to check out some of the new interviews in this forum as well…

Stomp & Stammer Time Heals Deep Wounds

couple LB quotes from the interview…

"the idea of doing a reunion with Murph and J just seems so completely farfetched and hilarious to me that I just can’t pass it up. It just sounds like a really cool opportunity to re-learn my basslines and hang out with those guys and just kind of, I don’t know, pull the skeletons out of the closet for a while, dust ‘em off."

                            LB on Murph…

but he’s really psyched about the reunion. He definitely bore the brunt of the negativity that was Dinosaur."

I have a tape somewhere of SEBADOH playing two songs on some late night show…Maybe CONAN.

I also have Lou and Bob Mould doing an acoustic duet of a Sebadoh song on 120 minutes in the BAKESALE era.

                                A few things …

                                1) Sebadoh played Rebound & Shit Soup on Conan O’Brien way back in The Day.

                                2) Just got back from LA. Watched the show Friday w/ Lou, Kath, J, Murph, a guy named Bart, a publicist & someone else. Hannelore was asleep on the couch. I sat right next to J. :)

                                3) There were some nervous looks when CF introduced the reissues as the band’s "entire back catalog". Eep. Probably semantics, but it’s obviously not the Whole Truth.

                                4) Lou is definitely "into" reunion.

                                5) J was apparently very nervous during the taping. He fudged some of the song but in general they were happy with the performance.

                                6) Highlight for Lou was playing with the old "Price Is Right" games on the floor below the studio.
