all that matters is they played the wagon. also they did a four song encore (i think), which seemed pretty generous. the crowd was really into it, more so than the last time they were here. dead meadow was great. drove up from richmond for 2 hours after deciding to go at the last minute and was kind of regretting the fact that it was $40 and they were just going to play the same 15 or so songs they’ve been playing, but once I got there I realized how stupid it was to think like that. first saw J + Fog in dc about 5 years ago to the day and just realizing the book end aspect of seeing that show and getting into it and then seeing them reformed here was just really heavy.

It was a great show, better then the first time I saw them probably.

Dead Meadow was great, I’m glad I got to see them live, I’ve been wanting to for awhile.

Felt like I was leaving the Varsity where Sebadoh played back in the early ’90s but I wasn’t at the Varsity I was at the 9:30 club. Or was I? It doesn’t matter. It was that good.

Havn’t listened to it yet but the set list looks awesome, hopefully this could end up on freesofree?

If you check the comments to this torrent you will see a link to a (publicly available – so I’ll also post it here ;)) ftp site which has a *much* better taping of both the Dino set and also the Dead Meadow set!

Thanks to the original taper for sharing this information…

                                Downloading now. Thanks
I got to see this show and it was really good. I lilked it better than last years NorVA show. Some of my buddies are pissed they never play Post when we see them but I am still happy just to see them.
