Anthony, this should definately be limited to people who are actually going to one of the shows.
November 21, 2006 at 4:21 pm #123385puke + cry, drawerings, WHATEVERS COOL WITH ME
i prolly would have picked other random ones, but i jsut want something good to win haha. ive seen out there and get me played by the fog millions of times, guess itd be cool to see lou rock em, but then again.. id rather see some shit that hasnt been played since the 90s.. and rocks!
general concensus is ussually obvious picks though. like when we did that "best dinosaur song" poll and freak scene won its like "whoda thunk it?"…haha

Whatevers Cool With Me
Never Bought It
November 21, 2006 at 7:01 pm #123388On The Way and Hide, mainly because they’re the post-Lou songs that sound most like Lou-era Dino. And I bet they’d sound ferocious live.
And What Else Is New, if Murph can swing it properly (that was the reason they never played Puke & Cry with the Murph/Mike lineup).
And Never Bought It, though that’s probably a longshot.
November 21, 2006 at 7:10 pm #123389I’m sticking with Out There, and Get Me into > Drawerings.
Jeremiah and myself are working on the poll, and it will be open to all freakscene members regardless of location.November 21, 2006 at 9:52 pm #123390Why not just send them a list of all the songs people suggest? There are only about 15 requested so far, and I can imagine J getting a list of the top three songs from the poll, shrugging his shoulders in indifference, and then not playing any. At least with a full list, maybe one or two oddball ones would catch his eye/their eyes, and then we’d be in business.

Whatever’s Cool With MeWhen the poll is open, you’ll be able to vote 3 tunes out of the list (or do you want to be able to pick 4 or 5?). You can vote once, and you can come back and change your vote until the poll closes.
When the poll is over, we’ll send Dino the entire list like King Tubby suggested.

That song frickin’ rocks! The opening riff is one of my favorite guitar riffs ever and the solo is sweet too! Also, it’s the best opening song to any album ever in my opinion. To each their own I guess…

I personally think we should stick to three. With a smaller number of people like we have, there are going to be a couple that get a lot of votes then a whole bunch that get 2-3 votes or less. I guess it’s the researcher in me but that’s my thought.
