      I compared the prices:

      amazon UK: 4,99 Pounds
      HMV UK: 2,49 pounds
      Opalmusic.com: 1,75 Pounds (but: Minimum order 5 Pounds…)

      The other link I posted before in this thread doesn’t seem to work, so I deleted it <img>

      thought it over and ordered the 7" at the Opalmusic site <img>

        Hi, I think I’ve totally missed the boat on this one, but I just got "everybody lets me down" yesterday, and I was a little freaked by the distortion on the vocals. Is it supposed to be like that or have I got a bad pressing? – Otherwise great track though (really liked the B-Side too)

          great, that you’ve got the single already <img>
          I’m still waiting, but mine should arrive within the next days…
          I think, the single version of ‘Everybody lets me down’ doesn’t differ very much from the album version, and I wouldn’t say that the album version is unusually distorted <img>
          If you download the song from the CitySlang site (in the mp3’s section) you’ll have the comparison…

          by the way, I asked the Glitterhouse label about the new J Masics releases, and if they offer them (because CitySlang recommend them for mail orders), but Glitterhouse didn’t react yet <img>

            woopee! had the record in the mail yesterday <img> <img> <img>
            I’m still astonished how cheap it was.
            I persuaded my old record player to work and the record sounds fine.
            Both songs are the same version like I have on CD, so you seem to have a bad pressing, Eight Ball Joe <img>

            Strange, I haven’t bought a vinyl record in years, to say nothing of a 7", so it’s definitely something special <img>

              Thanks Flying Cloud,

              I got a friend with a more expensive turntable to test it for me, and it seems that my deck is a mess rather than the record… Thankfully I don’t buy a lot of vinyl and he made me a copy of the tracks to tape so… CD’s out today – I’m quite excited.
