you can see him right at the end of the clip

July 11, 2007 at 8:18 am #130582Since it looked like a can and the damage seemed minimal, then, why worry too much about it? If J or Lou or Murph were clocked like David Yow, and I would have been there, forget about it. This guy would have found something else stuffed in his beer bottle.

But if he would have gotten hurt and fell over or something he would have probably been killed by all the Dino freaks there anyways.
But Iam not saying that the guy should have done it, he is still a cock box.

Yeah my post was not so directly intended at Fata Morgana as it seems.
His post says "why worry about it" because it was a can and not a bottle.
It makes it sound as though the guy who threw the can is not as much of an idiot as he would be if he threw a bottle…
What I meant is that I personally wouldn’t be as forgiving towards the guy who threw it, whether it was a bottle or can the guy is still an absolute fuckwit.July 12, 2007 at 12:49 am #130586"fata morgana " wrote:Since it looked like a can and the damage seemed minimal, then, why worry too much about it? how would you like it if you were at work and someone kept throw beer cans at your head.
July 12, 2007 at 6:22 am #130587it was a half empty bottle of water that was thrown. It still makes no difference though it was still a disrespectful act. 2nd show was much better although the crowd wasnt as big.

Sorry, I’ve had junkies threaten me at work, I’ve had managers and bosses backstab me, I’ve been held up, robbed, harassed, plus other stuff I won’t mention here. But, you’re right, I’ve never had a beer can thrown across my head. I did have a knife thrown across my head, which missed me by an inch. I was told by other people that it happened, since I didn’t see it myself. I have seen, once, a bandmember throw a glass of water at his guitarist while onstage–that really pissed me off. I’m not saying it’s right. It’s not right. And since jinxmaster says it was a half empty bottle of water, it must have hurt. I thought it looked like a crushed beer can from the video. Maybe it did cause a cut or bruise and it is a very humiliating and disrespectful act. And one day, if ever I get on a stage, maybe it will happen to me. So, no, it’s not right. But, it looked minimal. But, I’m not J, so, how can I know how it felt?
July 12, 2007 at 9:48 am #130590J might just think it’s some wierd thing that happened. I never saw the video, but if J walked offstage after it was thrown it may have been just his way of avoiding diving into the crowd and doing the jazzmaster jackhammer on one of the people in the area that threw it.
Glad you’re ok J. People who do mean things don’t realize that their actions are infectious, and if the bottles start flying again we’ll have good ole karma to put them back in their seat.
nice story morgana.
