      My name is Lucrife. People say there is something mysterious about that name but I don’t know why. I like a lot of bands but some of my favorites are: Dinosaur Jr.,The Velvet Underground, Television, Lee Hazlewood, 13th Floor Elevators, MC5, Sonic Youth, Husker Du, Minutemen, Two Dollar Guitar and Thalia Zedek

          Yes I’m a big fan of Thalia Zedek. Saw her last week at P.A.’s in Somerville, MA. Her band is excellent. My real name is Mike but my username is taken from a short horror story I wrote entitled "Lucrife’s Benary" an amalgram for "Lucifer’s Nearby". The story is somewhat inspired by Sheridan Le Fanu’s story "The Child That Went With The Fairies." SLF was a late nineteenth century horror/fantasy writer from Ireland probably best known for his vampire story "Carmilla" which later inspired Dracula.

            I live in Milton, MA. for the guy above who wanted to know where I was from. Hmmm lets see, I play the guitar and drums and I am a sophomore at UMASS Boston majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish.
