BEARS win 34-7, top of the NFC North @ 2-0
Great win at home, fixed the red zone problem, Rex threw for 4 td’s

Road trip to Minneapolis next week, love to beat the vikings at home!
September 18, 2006 at 8:28 pm #121972grrrrrr………forced to sit at the computer and get updates from nfl.com………still no score…stillers are in for a tough match…
September 18, 2006 at 8:39 pm #121973it was nice seeing the pats win at the meadowlands. the jets came back with a nice effort but it wasn’t enough. 24-17
the broncos will be coming to gillette next sunday.
September 19, 2006 at 9:11 am #121974The Hawks handled Arizona, Pittsburg lost, and the Giants wow, what a comeback. Hopefully we can get by them this year a little better than we did last year.
September 19, 2006 at 9:16 am #121975damn…….i’m pretty thankful that i didn’t watch the stillers get their asses handed to them. man, it sounds like they couldn’t do ANYTHING right…sheesh. they better tighten up..they have the bungles next week……..
September 19, 2006 at 9:45 am #121976Big Ben wasn’t feeling well either. They said he was playing with a fever. I don’t know why they didn’t put in Batch.
September 19, 2006 at 6:12 pm #121977I’m surprised they let Ben play, taking an unnecessary risk with a great player. He was obviously not healthy, in the 1st week The Steelers looked amazing, no doubt it will get better for you guys.
Some wicked hits over the w/e, the Chad Johnson one was my fav…

love this story…
Quote:The Bears haven’t scored this many points (60) in the first two weeks since 1984, and they haven’t given up this few (seven) since 1949.
September 20, 2006 at 10:49 am #121978Yep the Bears look tough this year. It will be interesting to see how my Seahawks fare agains them Bears in week 4.
September 20, 2006 at 5:31 pm #121979I think it’s a Sunday night game in Chicago when we meet you guys…we have a hx of playing poorly Sunday & Monday nights. Should be a fun game though, your coach will always be a packer to me

I’m hoping we come out of Minnesota without any injuries, our qb Grossman had a season ending injury on their crappy cement field couple years back

September 23, 2006 at 11:50 pm #121980Confrence showdowns and such fun, hope Ben gets in gear and the d can hold down the revenge filled carson pity bungles but all eyes on da Bears march to glory…
September 24, 2006 at 9:12 pm #121981Seahawks destroy the Giants! Off to Chicago.
September 25, 2006 at 1:52 pm #121982We BEARly got by the vikings but WE WON…dances around in circles until she falls down all dizzy

we played poorly though, our D forgot how to tackle, every now & then they do that, make a big hit but slide off the guy & he keeps going, don’t get it, hope to never see it again!
Looking forward to the Sunday night game, kinda worried though, you guys looked good out there, should be a good test for us…
Go BEARS Go

can’t stand the bengals, shame about that game, hope Ben finds the way to win soon!
September 27, 2006 at 8:01 pm #121983how depressing, the Patriots didn’t even show up.
September 27, 2006 at 8:35 pm #121984Brady didnt look good. Accuracy has always been one of his strengths, and he was off most of the night. He almost looked like a man beaten.
Huge game for the Bears. Even without Alexander, the Seahawks have lots of weapons. The Bears better get pressure on Hasselbeck. I think the Seahawk D may make Rex look pretty ordinary. The Bears have to run the ball better. Go Bears!
Chris Simms sure showed me a ton. Playing a game with a ruptured spleen! I always laugh when people say football players are over paid. Simms could’ve died Sunday, and he’s out there competeting for a team that was going nowhere.
Big Ben needs to shake off the rust, and get his head back in the game. That int. he threw in the end zone was terrible. Miller was covered by 5 guys! He just needs to get back to playing smart and not turning the ball over.
My team, the Cowboys luck out and face the lowly Titans. I really dont think T.O. is that important to Dallas. they’ll be alright if the O LIne plays well, and keeps Bledsoe on his feet.
Good luck to everyone with their teams this weekend!
September 29, 2006 at 1:15 pm #121985Brady just doesn’t look like himself, heard Vinnie Testaverde was working out for the Patriots this week…whats up with that

For awhile there I thought SA was gonna play this week, all that prayer supposedly healed his broken bone…additional scans proved otherwise. Hope all that jumping up & down on that foot to prove his healing power hasn’t set him back…

Shame he’s out, if we do pull out a win it will always have that ‘but their best player wasn’t playing’ deal attached to it. We’re down a TE, Desmond Clark out with a sprained foot, apparently he’s a possible but I doubt it. We definitely have to get the run going, need better blocking & running, fewer penalties by our center Kreutz wouldn’t hurt either. Our D players are incredibly fast, hoping we get some wicked pass rush on Hasselback as well, no doubt out corners are gonna get tested this week!
Shame about that whole TO deal in Dallas, definitely providing tons of chaos for the team to deal with. Doubt the Titans will provide a challenge, hopefully TO can figure out how to get back to playing football & help you guys out. I’ve always like Bledsoe as a qb, hope your O line helps him this w/e
