Tonas, The Hawks will get it together. Once the offense gets on the same page, the defense will improve.
Grossman has to be scaring you AGAP. All he has to do is not lose games, and he has been shaky with that. They’ll get the first round bye, and home field advantage. I just dont think Grossman is capable of leading the Bears if the fall behind in a game.
Good luck to all your teams. Hopefully they stay healthy.
December 6, 2006 at 6:00 pm #122047He is driving me nuts, his qb rating was 1.3…

Good luck with the Saints, definitely going to check it out!
Good to see Seattle pull it out against Denver, with you on that Josh Brown thing!
Good luck this week
December 7, 2006 at 9:25 am #122048This next week will be carzy we play at Arizona on Sunday and then play the 49ers on Thursday. Hopefullt it will be a 2-0 kind of week.
December 11, 2006 at 5:34 pm #122049Hopefully we have better luck tonite than Freakscene football fans had yesterday, some brutal games yesterday!
Rumors out there Griese’s been getting more snaps with the 1st team this week, if Rex continues to struggle think we may see a change…

December 12, 2006 at 1:37 am #122050…Stillers crushed brownies thursday night, prime time is good for football, da Bears just proved that besting the rams in St. Louis. Rex looked good, Devin Hester looked fast as lightning, that return with the on-side hands team in was unfreakinbelievable, speed kills…
December 12, 2006 at 5:24 pm #122051Hester is crazy fast, the seperation he gets is incredible!!!
Nice win for us, clinched a first round bye in the NFC, might be able to clinch home field next week with the right win/loss scenario. Next up for us is Tampa in Chicago…
Go BEARS Go
December 17, 2006 at 10:15 am #122052Mighty Ones play Tampa today, hopefully we pull out another win. Our D needs to play better, last week they were a bit of a let down. Will be without a couple key defensive players, Harris lost for the season, Tank Johnson out secondary to gun charges, found six guns, no foid card, pal of his living with him had a couple ounces of pot. Tank apologized to the team for being a distraction & letting them down on the field…so after that he goes out partying in Chicago, gets in a scuffle, pal helps out & he gets shot in the back & dies…yikes! I suspect Tank may not be a BEAR for much longer…raiders maybe
Bad Karma all round on that one, hope it doesn’t mess with us!
Go BEARS Go
Good win by Dallas, shame about the TO/Hall incident, hopefully a fine comes into place, totally uncalled for!
December 17, 2006 at 11:02 am #122053That whole situation with Tank Johnson is too bad. Him and Harris being out may make the game closer, but the Bears should win. As long as Rex doesnt hand the Bucs an early Christmas present.
Its impossible to know what was said between TO and Hall, but spitting on someone is a totally classless move.
Good luck everybody.
.December 18, 2006 at 3:21 pm #122054It really is a shame about Tank, he was on probation for a previous gun charge/scuffle with an officer. If only he had decided to lay low versus going clubbing 12 hrs after apologizing to the club. Should hear soon if he’s gone or not, think it’s a done deal though, his nameplates off his locker. Definitely a distraction this week, probably for the rest of the season as the D are pretty close.
BEARS # 1 seed in NFC, play off games come thru Chicago. Hopefully we get some players back, our D needed help out there yesterday. Hurting at corner, couple rookies out there, Tillman was great though! Grossman was fun to watch for a change, no mistakes, spread the ball around, shame about the sacks though, fingers crossed John Tait gets healthy & returns to the line.
BEARS 12-2, next @ Detroit…
Go BEARS Go
December 19, 2006 at 8:38 pm #122055…Stillers march into carolina and showed those superbowl hopefulls (pre-season that is) who has an ounce of hope left this year. Sadly we got it going a bit too late, i’d be happy with 9-7 at this point, meaning we get to win versus division foes baltimore and cinni the next two weeks, unless we get more help than an out of shape billionairre being carried to the top of everst by underpaid sherpas, we are not going to make the play-offs, but hey i came to grips with that weeks ago so all this maybe guessing hoping rooting for teams you hate, like yesterday i had to pull for the colts, it hurt, i turned my tv off and questioned my motives as a sports fan; but then you take a look at da Bears, clinching home field, crazy close game, Robbie Gould (penn state grad) makes the pro-bowl despite almost blowing it in ot, all’s well that ends well and the play-offs should be interesting even if all the freaksceners teams aren’t represented…
December 26, 2006 at 6:07 pm #122056Crazy games this w/e, hope the football freaks here all still have playoff opportunities…
BEARS beat Detroit sunday, played the 2nd half like a preseason game, testing out new defensive schemes. Lot of D players out, hopefully we get them back for the playoffs, too many rookies out there playing corner!
next up BEARS vs packers at Soldier Field
gotta love this, Ditka started a record label…
Quote:His kind of label. You’ve got a world famous restaurant..you’ve got great gigs on sports radio and ESPN television. In fact, you’ve got a dazzling collection of business interests way too numerous to mention. You’ve also got a penchant for fine cigars and a fondness for the music of the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra.
What you don’t have is the ability to enjoy the sounds of that era in a new and contemporary way. So what do you do? You start a record label and produce your kind of music.
You are the one and only Mike Ditka.
“Da Coachâ€
December 26, 2006 at 7:22 pm #122057…yeah it’s over, for the Stillers at least but it sure felt like it weeks ago when baltimore stomped us for the first time, they are just better than us and that’s that, i quickly learned a lesson after the game, don’t shave angry/depressed, it almost ruined my christmas eve bar/party tour but at least i wan’t have to keep reviewing play-off senerios for the next week, sad it is but oh well, next year will be fun…
until then
go Bears go
December 27, 2006 at 12:28 pm #122058Well my Seahawks won the division and are headed to the playoffs. You’d think I would be way stoked, the first super bowl loser in years to make it back to the playoffs, 3 division titles in a row, etc. but I’m totally worried. They are playing like crap! With all that talent the possibilities are endless… if we could only pull it together and play like I know we can…… we could win it all. It just doesn’t look that way now.
December 27, 2006 at 4:10 pm #122059Tonas, I feel your pain, our D is pretty banged up & giving up the run in a huge way. Fingers crossed we get some guys back on D & tighten up!!!
Shame about the Steelers, guess we’ll find out soon if your coach is retiring this year, could be some changes happening soon. Hopefully Ben keeps wearing that helmet thru the off season & comes back strong for you guys!
BEARS vs packers was to be a noon game, they’ve moved it to New Years Eve…not to pleased about that…

2007 schedule is out, we have a much tougher schedule…
Quote:The Bears will have road dates at Oakland and San Diego,as well as Seattle, Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, Philadelphia and Washington. The Bears will host their three division opponents as well as Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, New Orleans and the New York Giants
But first things first…Go BEARS Go
December 31, 2006 at 9:43 pm #122060Stillers get walk-off win to end season. Rook Santonio Holmes gets the honor, he is going to be a star next year, hope Cowher is gone, i know that isn’t the consensus of Stiller nation but he isn’t a god, he is firery and tough as nails and he gets the most from a team but he can’t manage the clock and wastes timeouts and as a fan i can’t handle that but time will tell.
Bears getting crushed but it isn’t for real for a couple weeks so we’ll see…
happy new years football fans…
Penn State 11:00 am est 1/1/07 first american football game of 2007, hope for the best but bowl games are a whole new world.
