My apartment was just burglarized and all my cds were stolen. Among them was every J Mascis/Dinosaur Jr. album! !@#$%^!
I’m pretty bummed out about it.
I had all these:
Dinosaur
Bug
You’re living all over me
Green Mind
Whatever’s cool with me
Fossils
Where you been
Without a Sound
Hand it over
Martin & me
More light

Dinosaurs are still alive (UK import or bootleg)I really liked ALL of them and I can’t imagine the person who stole them could appreciate them or get as much for them as they are worth to me.
It really sucks!
I also lost a lot of Neil Young, Jimi hendrix, Sonic Youth, firehose, pixies and lots of miscellanious stuff…
If anyone in the Chicago area notices a great selection of Dinosaur Jr. albums appear at a used cd store, please email me…
I’m a guitar geek (stratocaster was stolen too) who’s been a fan of J for more than ten years. I’ve seen him play at just about every good Chicago venue – Double Door, Metro, HOB and Empty Bottle…
I just thought this board might be a good place to vent about it…

<img> <img> <img>Oh my, that sucks….., I’ve experienced a burglary once myself, not that much was stolen, but the fact that someone’s going through your house and your private stuff just gives you a very very bad feeling….
Hope you get your stuff back soon….

Rocketmaster, that is one sad story. It would almost be acceptable if you knew the cd’s were going to a good home, but I highly doubt a petty thief could appreciate J. As for the strat, do you know the serial number? Well I’m sure you’ve thought of that. I hope you find the goods ’cause J makes the world go round.
