        Trouser ptess says:

        Quote:
Quit While You’re Ahead is an arduous compilation of pre-album slash’n’screamers. Half of the ten tracks are from early singles-including the calamitous 1990 gutter-classic debut "Kicked in the Head" b/w "Bum My Trip," and "Fear of a Fucked Up Planet" b/w "Blow Job" ; while the rest are noisy scrapheap findings, including two ("In the Hole" and "Losing My Cool") with drumming by J Mascis.

        J. on drums, not on bass….

That definitely makes more sense, two tracks with J on drums sounds pretty cool to me

            From an Italian catalog:

ACTION SWINGERS – QUIT WHILE YOU’RE AHEAD
The final instalment from the Action Swingers includes an All Star Line-up of J.Mascis (Dinosaur Jr) on Drums, Julie Catfritz (Free Kitten) on Guitar, Don Fleming (Gumball etc) on Bass, Guitar and drums; and Ned Hayden on Vocals and Guitar. 10 Tracks of Lo-Fi Garage Punk, Kerrang! said on it’s release that this album was the "most obnoxious album heard this year" (1995). Produced by Don Fleming. 5 Tracks were unreleased, the other 5 were singles featuring the critically acclaimed "Fear Of The Fucked Up Planet".
