One of my favorite NMH/Mangum bootlegs, and the best of the ‘acoustic’ ones. The delivery shines with honesty and a sweet joy of finally playing live again. Hearing Mangum explain why he hasn´t been playing for a while due to a nervous breakdown, and how he sees this as a good thing to happen to him is interesting. And the fact that it´s the first and so far only NMH/Mangum show since ´98, makes it special. And the whole rant about why they chose to call themselves World Of Wild Beards Incorporated for ‘this post nervous breakdown,’ show as he labels it is hilarious.
Anyone who´s a NMH fan will enjoy this, the sound is pristine and the performance is out of this world.

A woooooooo to that :) Not the best sound quality on those recordings because of the era(late `40s/early `50s)but cool nonetheless.

The Minus 5 selftitled album…or the gun album…whatever you prefer…or whichever is correct.

Both, or gun club is correct just as blue album is correct for the first weezer album.

Man Or Astroman – Live From Uranus. I had completely forgotten about MOAM’s existence until I got some peel session tracks of theirs last week. Well, shame on me.
