I like them all except Pulp,Ben Folds,Supergrass;I don`t listen to the beach boys much but Brian Wilson came up with melodies you can hear MBV even used.

What don’t you like about them lot then? What do you think to Ben Folds? Nothing short of genius in my opinion! And I guess Supergrass and Pulp are sort of very British. Interested in your opinion…

What are your fave Neil Young records?

Pulp and Supergrass are/were okayish single-bands, it always cheers me up when ‘Disco 2000’, ‘Common people’, ‘Allright’ or ‘Caught by the fuzz’ are on the radio, never cared much for their albums…..

Never ever listened to anything by Ben Folds Five, you can’t listen to everything….

            Favourite Neil Young albums:

            1. Tonight’s the night
            2. Rust never sleeps

Saw Neil Young live with Crazy Horse twice this year, they were fantastic, these guys know how to rock!!!!!

                Hey everybody,

Glad to see we are still on this topic, I’ve been away for a few weeks and the debate still rages…

Still is the one arguement i have with my friends the most!!

Supergrass rock – saw them recently at the Leeds Festival here in the UK – many many top tunes.

Pulp are fantastic, should be seeing them live later in the year, small gig in Birmingham, can’t wait…

Anyway to add to my lists somewhere up the top of this debate try these fro size:

Guided by Voices – Isolatio Drills – finally got hold of a copy and it’s great.

Slint – Spiderland – just bought this sorry 10years behind

Nirvana – Outcesticicde 3 bootleg thing with lots of stuff I hadn’t heard.

Anyway that’s what I’ve been listening to this week

GBV`s Isolation Drills I`m not into,I like some of the tunes though, but overall it`s not impressive.
Slint`s Spiderland is a landmark in early 90`s indie rock,I just bought it last year so I was 9 years late!I recently downloaded their version of Neil Young`s Cortez The Killer from audiogalaxy.com
                  very cool!
nice to hear from you again John,it`s been a while.

great album, really overlooked, they got some attention with You`d prefer an astronaut but I think downward is better, better production, better songs.

limiting my response to only one Dino album, I would have to say, in no particular order.
